TASTES

With assistance of our great team of educators, the National Ag Science Center began hosting TASTES (Teacher Agricultural Science Technology Education Seminars) in 2008.  Over three days teachers explore soil, the science of school gardens and nutrition and a special session for ag teachers.  Each day there is a topic introduction, field trips to agricultural operations to see practical applications of each topic, guest speakers and hands-on lesson ideas to take back and use in the classroom.  Not only does TASTES provide many resources, but participating teachers also have the opportunity to receive college credits.  For more information about TASTES please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
