- Unveiling Ag in Motion - a mobile classroom which will tour middle schools providing students with memorable experiences in agricultural science to encourage future careers in agriculture. (June 2011)

What is the National Ag Science Center?Welcome to America’s only science center focusing on agriculture. Rooted in one of the world's most productive agricultural regions, California’s renown Central Valley, the National Ag Science Center will be the premier interactive, state-of-the-art facility highlighting the science and technology of agriculture through unique and modern exhibits created by a world-class team of designers. To achieve our goal and ultimately build the National Ag Science Center, we have established a three phase approach:
The 65,000-square-foot National Ag Science Center building will be located on the campus of Modesto Junior College and will feature an introductory theater, retail store, dining facilities, meeting space and an 18,000-square-foot exhibit space.
Through each phase of the development process, visitors of all ages will be provided unique insight on the role of science and technology in the development and expansion of America's agricultural industry in providing a safe, consistent and abundant supply of food and fiber for the world’s consumers to enjoy – all while learning about sustainability, science, technology and careers in agriculture.
