The Talented Team Behind the Design
Scott Sinclair is the principle designer for the National Ag Science Center. Scott’s roots in the Central Valley run deep. He was raised in Hughson and is the son of the late Stanislaus County Agricultural Commissioner Hugh Sinclair. Scott has over 20 years of experience working in the areas of theme parks, museum exhibits, branded environments, film, television, live entertainment, licensing and architecture. Scott’s work has been seen throughout the world, from London’s Millennium Dome to Disney’s Tokyo Seas amusement park. In addition to his work with Disney, Sony and Apple Computer, he has worked with a number of celebrity talents including Maurice Sendak, and helped bring Sendak’s childrens book “Where the Wild Things Are” to life at San Francisco’s Metreon.
Larry Gertz Executive Producer, Project Manager Larry has played a major role in managing and creative directing museum exhibits and shows, theme park attractions, location-based entertainment, and films. Six years ago, Larry left his 20-year association at Walt Disney Imagineeriny where he was Creative Vice President and Executive Producer for the Epcot theme park at Walt Disney World as well as managing creative development for all Walt Disney Imagineering worldwide parks and resorts corporate partnerships. Since leaving Disney, Larry has produced The Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame in Seattle, Washington, sponsored by Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen. Recently, he led the design of a major exhibit about what it is to be human "You: The Exhibit" at the Chicago Museum of Sciene and Industry. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Southern California Interactive Media Department, and consults extensively in both the museum and theme park industries, specializing in environmental storytelling. Larry has won multiple TEA (Themed Entertainment Association), Clio, and AFI awards for his theme park, museum, and film work. Don Phillips is the creative mind behind the architectural designs for the National Ag Science Center. Don’s firm Pacific Design Associates has designed some of the most creative and functional buildings in Modesto and is known for its vision and understanding of the needs of the project.
